Women's Soccer: Falcons downed at Wentworth

BOSTON, MA. - The Fisher College Women's Soccer team drops a contest to Wentworth Institute of Technology this evening, 5-0 at Sweeney Field. The loss sends the Falcons to 0-4-0. Wentworth will slide to 2-2-1.

The offensive effort for the Falcon's was led by freshman Sasha Therrien Dominguez (Hesperia, Calif.) having two shots during the game. Following her was senior Jenna McCullough (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) taking a shot herself. Fisher's defense was paced by senior Olivia Leo (Dunmore, Pa.) with 9 saves in her 77 minutes of play.

Wentworth's offense in the first half was led by graduate student Madelyn Seder (Marlborough, Mass.), junior Lina Arlander (Skjetten, Norway), sophomore Lily Carson (New Braintree, Mass.), and junior Emily Hagen (Ellicott City, Md.) each gaining a goal in the first half. Junior Olivia Gass (Barrington, N.H.) started the second half with a goal in the 45th minute. Clarie Reif led Wentworth defensively with a save in her 90 minutes of play.

Both teams will be back in action soon. Fisher will be traveling to Vermont to face Vermont State Johnson on Tuesday with a start time of 4pm. Wentworth will also be traveling playing Salem State University on Saturday with a start time of 12pm.
