EAST BOSTON, MASS. - The Fisher College Women's Soccer team dropped the contest this evening to Suffolk University, 13-0 at the James A. Sartoril Stadium. The loss sends the Falcons to a 0-6-0 overall record. Suffolk rises to 6-1-1 on the season.
The defensive effort for the Falcons was led by senior goalkeeper Olivia Leo (Dunmore, Pa.) who had 9 saves in her 90 minutes of play in the game. The offensive pace was set by freshman Sasha Therrien Dominguez (Hesperia, Ca.) and senior Jenna McCullough (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) who both had a shot in the loss for Fisher.
Suffolk came out the gate swinging with the offensive effort being led by junior Ella Marmash (St. Petersburg, Fla.) who earned a hat trick as well as 2 assists. Junior Lily Goldmann (Plymouth, Mass.) as well as senior Kylie Perron (Norfolk, Mass.) scored a pair of goals themselves in the clean sweep while 6 other players chipped in a goal for the Ram's win.
Both teams will be back in action when they return to the field this week. Fisher will be hosting Washington Adventist University for a conference match on Sunday for a 4pm start. Suffolk will be hosting the University of New England on Saturday with a 12pm start time.
