Women's Soccer: Falcons shut down by Maine-Farmington

FARMINGTON, ME - The Fisher College Women's Soccer team lost 6-0 to the University of Maine Farmington, moving their record to 1-7-1.

Farmington's goals came from freshman Makenzie Rushlow (Corinth, Maine), assisted by senior Abby Lash (Waldoboro, ME). Senior Grace Mahmood (Oxford, CT),added two goals of her own. Junior Natalie Tracy (Oakland, Maine) scored three times, for a hat trick, with assists from sophomore Rita Benoit (Hallowell, Maine), senior Grace Dwyer (Manchester, Maine), and Lash.The Bevers Defense was led by junior Paige Gonya (Sabattus, Maine) with 4 saves in her 90 minutes of play.

Fisher's offense was paced by shots from freshman Anai Vazquez (East, Boston, Mass.), freshman Sasha Therrien Dominguez (Hesperia, Calf.), and senior Jenna McCullough (Buffalo Grove, Ill.). Senior keeper Olivia Leo (Dunmore, Pa.) recorded 4 saves in 90 minutes.

Fisher's next game is at home against Bay Path on October 12 at 1 p.m. Farmington plays Maine Maritime Academy that same day at 2:30 p.m.
