BOSTON, MASS. – The Fisher College Women's Soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with the University of Maine-Fort Kent this afternoon. The tie brings the Falcons' record to 3-9-3, while the Bengals move to 6-6-2 on the season.

UMFK's offense was led by senior Nancy Martin (Fort Kent, Maine), who recorded 5 shots on goal, and junior Kamoy Brown (Kingston, Jamaica), who added 3 shots. Despite their offensive efforts, the Bengals were unable to break through Fisher's defense.

Fisher's goalkeeper, senior Olivia Leo (Dunmore, Pa.), was exceptional, making 9 saves in 90 minutes of play to preserve the shutout for the Falcons. The Falcons had limited opportunities offensively, registering only 3 shots. Senior Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.) took 2 of those shots, while senior Jenna McCullough (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) had 1 shot on goal. UMFK's senior goalkeeper, Giselle Trujillo (Whittier, Calif.), earned the shutout for the Bengals with 1 save in 90 minutes.

The Bengals outshot the Falcons 15-3 and had 9 corner kicks compared to Fisher's 2, but Fisher's defense and Leo's strong performance in goal kept the game level.

Fisher will next play away at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts on October 29, with a 6:00 pm start. UMFK will face North American University on November 16 at 12:45 pm.
