GWINNETT, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Fisher College senior Macy Barnes (Duarte, Calif.) has been named the conference's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. This is the first time that Barnes has been recognized by the conference this season after twice being award a season ago.

Barnes was a catalyst for the Falcons during their 3-1 week. She accumulated a total of 67 kills across 14 sets and posted an impressive .448 hitting percentage. Barnes recorded 25 kills and added 20 digs in the team's 3-1 win over Dean College last Saturday followed by a 13-kill performance in a sweep over Massachusetts Maritime Academy. The California native also registered 54 digs and averaged 3.86 digs per set to help the Falcons defensively.

The Falcons will return to the court tomorrow evening as they travel down Beacon Street for a 7pm matchup at Emmanuel College. For the official release from the CAC, please click here.
