GWINNETT, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Fisher College senior Macy Barnes (Duarte, Calif.) has been named the conference's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. This is the second time this season that Barnes has been recognized by the conference after being named the Attacker of the Week back on September 12th.

The California native recorded another outstanding week in leading the Falcons to a 3-1 record. She began the four-game weekend with a 16-kill performance in the loss to Plymouth State and followed with a 14-kill effort in the win over Castleton. On Sunday, Barnes powered her way to a pair of wins over Maine-Presque Isle with 15 kills in the opener and 10 kills in the finale. She also collected 56 digs over the four games to help the team defensively.

Barnes and the Falcons will return to action on Friday evening as they begin another four-game weekend. Fisher will travel to Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Mass. for a 7pm contest before hosting CAC foe Washington Adventist University for a three-game set Saturday night and Sunday morning.
