Women's Volleyball: Falcons sweep Lesley, 3-0

BROOKLINE, MASS. - Fisher College secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Lesley University at home in Brookline, Mass., with match scores of 25-10, 25-7, and 25-18. The Falcons record rises to 15-12, while Lesley will fall to 0-13.

Fisher's offense was in full force, with senior Alicia Tkach (Middleton, Mass.) leading the charge, recording 12 kills and 9 digs. Alongside her, junior Caroline Saucier (Sarasota, Fla.) also posted 12 kills. Freshman Natalia Ramirez (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico) was effective in setting up plays with 12 assists, while junior Sofia Campos (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) was a standout performer, contributing 12 service aces and 13 digs. Senior Alondra Farinacci (Ponce, Puerto Rico) supported the effort with 7 assists and 11 digs.

Lesley struggled throughout the match, with sophomore Shae Thomas (Clayton, N.C.) contributing 4 kills. Freshman Ariel Udell (Lexington, Mass.) posted 10 digs, and first-year Korinne Hall-Johnson (North Brunswick, NJ) added 3 service aces and 14 digs to the defensive effort. Sophomore Mariah Febo (Boston, Mass.) chipped in with 2 assists for Lesley.

Fisher's next match will be a doubleheader at home against the University of Vermont State Johnson and Lyndon on October 17th, beginning at 4 p.m. Lesley will be on the road for a doubleheader against the University of Maine Presque Isle on October 18th, starting at 6 p.m.
