BOSTON, MASS. – The Fisher College Women's Cross Country team finished up the 2022 regular season this afternoon as they completed at the Suffolk Invitational at Franklin Park, hosted by Suffolk University. Due to some pre-participation injuries, only four runners competed for the Falcons as they did not qualify for a team finish in the 25+ team field.

Junior Sofia Zeledon (Miami, Fla.) was the first Falcon to cross the line as she recorded a personal best 37:53 in the 6K race. She finished overall at 164 in the field of nearly 200 runners. Freshman Camryn Willis (Foxborough, Mass.) was the next to hit the line at 52:55 with junior Jenna Malone (Nassau, Bahamas) at 52:59 and senior Ashleigh Onfroy (Falmouth, Mass.) rounding out the quartet at 53:20.

Next up for the Women's Cross Country team will be a trip to Lakeland, Florida for the 2022 Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships. The meet is scheduled to take place at 8am on Friday, November 4th.
