April 30, 2018-Boston, MA- On Sunday night, Fisher College and the Fisher College Athletics department held the annual Hall of Fame and Athletics Banquet in Alumni Hall on the College’s campus. The evening centered on food, fun and celebration honoring the best of Falcon Athletics. The evening began with a lively reception for students, staff and alumni who intermingled with tales and pictures of past and current athletes gracing the screens before the celebration kicked off. Throughout the night various awards were handed out honoring the multitude of achievements from within the Athletic Department.
Brighton, MA- The Fisher Falcons Softball team suited up under the lights last Saturday to face off in their home opener to the University of Maine- Presque Isle. The Falcons fell in the first game 11-2 in the team effort.
Brighton, MA- The Fisher Softball team held a late night matchup against the University of Maine-Presque Isle in the second of two games on Saturday night. As the darkness descended on a shortened game called due to darkness, the Falcons unable to have their chance to overcome the 12-2 deficit.

Boston, Mass.—The Fisher College softball team closed out their 2017 season at the A.I.I. Conference Tournament in Lawrenceville, Georgia against the Edward Waters College Tornados by a score of 6-4. For the first time under Coach Laramie, the Falcons ranked 3-out-of-4 teams to earn a playoff berth. Finishing the regular season 16-18 the Falcons earned the fourth seed and took on #5 Georgia Gwinnett College in the opening round losing 19-1. The team turned around and played a solid game against EWC in the elimination game eventually dropping the contest 6-4.
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Day two of the Association of Independent Institutions Softball Championship tournament survived wet and rainy conditions to put four games in the books on Friday at the Grizzly Softball Complex in Lawrenceville, Ga.
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Four women's softball players from Fisher College earned spots on the A.I.I. All Conference Teams. The Falcons went 16-18 in the regular season earning them the #3 seed in the A.I.I. Conference Tournament and finishing as the #4 seed. The 2017 campaign led by the four Falcons tripled the amount of wins from the 2016 season. Senior Morgan Selmi and freshman Corrie Edstrom earned spots on the first team while junior Kristina Brown and junior Rebecca Collison earned spots on the second team.
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The first day of the 2017 Association of Independent Institutions softball tournament was suspended to heavy rain in the greater-Gwinnett County area on Thursday after an inning and a half of play.
PRESQUE ISLE, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Softball team (21-11) wrapped up their regular season schedule by hosting the Fisher Falcons (16-18) in a Sunday afternoon doubleheader. The Falcons would come from behind in both games and end up with 8-7 and 12-11 victories.
PRESQUE ISLE, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle (21-9) continued their strong play and swept a doubleheader against Fisher College (14-18) on Saturday afternoon. The first game would be a high scoring affair, with the Owls winning 12-10; the second game UMPI would take by a score of 8-4.
The College of St. Joseph Softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader match-up against Fisher College on Monday, April 17. The first game was a back and forth affair, in which the Fisher Falcons were able to come away with a 10-8 victory. Game two was a slugfest that ended with the Lady Saints losing 23-17. The two losses bring CSJ's overall record to 1-11 on the season. Their lone victory came against Southern Maine Community College on April 14.
LYNN, MASS. -- The Fisher College softball team took two victories from the SUNY Dehli Broncos on Tuesday afternoon in exhilarating fashion. In the first game, the Falcons pushed for extra innings, taking the victory in the bottom of the eighth inning. In the second game, the Falcons came from a 7-6 defecite to win the game 14-9.
The Falcons are now 5-13 on the season after the home sweep of SUNY Delhi.
Bangor, Maine – UMaine Farmington fell to Fisher College by a score of 5-4 in the first game of the double head while falling in game two by a score of 5-2 in Bangor Maine on Boucher Field.
BANGOR, Maine – The Eagles swept the Falcons at home on Saturday capturing an 8-3 victory in the first game of the doubleheader, followed by a 7-0 shutout. The games were played on a more unfamiliar surface since the softball field is still recovering from all of the snow and rain, the women competed on Boucher Field where soccer and lacrosse typically play.
